- 1 cup [225 g] butter
- 1 cup [200 g] sugar
- 1 cup [250 mL] brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] vanilla
- 2 cups [280 g] flour
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] baking powder
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
- 2 cups [500 mL] rolled oats
- 2 cups [500 mL] rice krispies
- 2 cups [500 mL] coconut flakes

- Cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar.
- Beat in beaten eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, already mixed together.
- Then delicately fold in rolled oats, rice krispies and coconut flakes.
- Drop teaspoonfuls [5 mL] mixture onto a cookie sheet; press down mounds with a fork.
- Bake into a preheated 350°F [180°C] oven, for 10 to 15 minutes.
