- 1 1/2 cups [210 g] all-purpose flour, sifted
- 2 1/2 teaspoons [12.5 mL] baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] baking soda
- 3 tablespoons [45 g] sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon [3.75 mL] salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2/3 cup [160 mL] milk
- 3 tablespoons [45 mL] melted shortening

- Preheat oven to 375 to 400°F [190 to 200°C].
- Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt.
- Well beat together beaten eggs, milk and melted shortening.
- Well mix dry ingredients into eggs mixture.
- Spoon dough into 18 mounds, apart from each other, onto a cookie sheet.
- Bake into preheated oven, for approximately 1 minute on each side.
