- 1/2 cup [115 g] butter or margarine
- 1 cup [140 g] flour
- 1/4 cup [60 g] sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] baking powder
- 1 cup [250 mL] rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] halved fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped nuts
- 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] chocolate chips

- Preheat oven to 325°F [160°C].
- Soften butter or margarine into a large bowl.
- Well mix in flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla and baking powder.
- Mix in rolled oats, fresh cranberry halves, chopped nuts and chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a greased cookie sheer.
- Bake cookies into preheated oven, for 15 to 20 minutes.
