Cranberry Chocolate Chip Cookies

Comments: I prefer to add raisins instead of nuts. Simply delicious!

  • 1/2 cup [115 g] butter or margarine
  • 1 cup [140 g] flour
  • 1/4 cup [60 g] sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] baking powder
  • 1 cup [250 mL] rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] halved fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped nuts
  • 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] chocolate chips
  • Preheat oven to 325°F [160°C].
  • Soften butter or margarine into a large bowl.
  • Well mix in flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla and baking powder.
  • Mix in rolled oats, fresh cranberry halves, chopped nuts and chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a greased cookie sheer.
  • Bake cookies into preheated oven, for 15 to 20 minutes.
