- 1 cup [225 g] butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup [200 g] sugar
- 1 cup [250 mL] brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups [350 g] flour
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] baking soda
- 4 cups [1 L] rice krispies cereals
- 2 cups [500 mL] caramel chips

- Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
- Into a large bowl, mix together butter, sugar and brown sugar at medium speed of an electric beater.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Add flour, salt and baking soda beating until really well blended.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a cookies sheet.
- Bake cookies into preheated oven for approximately 12 to 15 minutes, until just golden.
- Leave to cool slightly, then transfer onto wire racks to cool completely.
