Baked Fresh Fruit Compote
Comments: Use any desired fruit such as pears, peaches, apricots, apples.....
  • Fresh fruits, to taste
  • 1 part sugar [syrup]
  • 1 part water [syrup]
  • Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
  • Rinse and, if desired, peel fruits; leave fruits whole or cut fruits into pieces.
  • Arrange fruits into a baking dish; pour in enough syrup [equal part of sugar and water] to completely cover fruits or fruit pieces.
  • Cover dish.
  • Bake into preheated oven, for 30 minutes.
  • Cool and refrigerate before serving, really cold.
