Bing Cherry Sauce
Servings: 1 1/2 cups [375 mL]
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup [60 g] sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup [250 mL] strained reserved canned Bing cherry juices
  • 1 cup [250 mL] canned drained Bing cherries
  • Into a casserole, mix together cornstarch, sugar and salt.
  • Slowly stir in strained cherry juices.
  • Cover casserole; simmer for 5 minutes, over medium-high heat.
  • Shortly before serving, add drained Bing cherries, until well warmed-up.
