- 4 fresh pears, skinned, halved and cored [or 8 well-drained canned pear halves]
- 4 tablespoons [60 g] melted butter
- 1/3 cup [80 mL] brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] cinnamon

- Preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
- Arrange pear halves, rounded side up, side-by-side into a baking dish or a pie plate.
- Brush pear halves generously with melted butter.
- Mix together brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle all over pear halves.
- Bake into preheated oven, for 8 to 10 minutes.
