- 1/4 pound [113 g] powdered almonds
- 1/2 cup [100 g] sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspon [5 g] softened butter
- 3 teaspoons [15 mL] Rum
- 1 [8-inch / 20-cm] pie shell

- Preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
- Mix together powdered almonds and sugar.
- Mix in eggs and softened butter.
- Pour mixture into pie shell.
- Bake into preheated oven for 45 minutes.
- Transfer onto a wire rack.
- Leave to cool completely before serving.
