Almond Pie

Servings: 1 [8-inch / 20-cm] pie
  • 1/4 pound [113 g] powdered almonds
  • 1/2 cup [100 g] sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspon [5 g] softened butter
  • 3 teaspoons [15 mL] Rum
  • 1 [8-inch / 20-cm] pie shell
  • Preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
  • Mix together powdered almonds and sugar.
  • Mix in eggs and softened butter.
  • Pour mixture into pie shell.
  • Bake into preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  • Transfer onto a wire rack.
  • Leave to cool completely before serving.
