- 4 bananas
- Juice of 1 orange
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 3 tablespoons [45 mL] brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] cinnamon
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] Rum [optional]
- Grated rind of 1/2 orange

- Preheat oven broiler.
- Peel then half each banana lengthwise.
- Arrange banana halves side-by-side into a buttered baking dish.
- Pour orange juice and lemon juice all over banana halves.
- Sprinkle bananas all over with already mixed together brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Over middle rack of preheated oven, brown banana halves for approximately 10 minutes, until just golden.
- If desired, flambe bananas with Rum.
- Serve immediately, garnished with grated orange rind.
