- 1/4 cup [60 mL] cold water
- 1 tablespoon [7 g] unflavored gelatin
- 1/3 cup [80 mL] boiling water
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] hulled halved fresh strawberries
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] strawberry extract
- 2/3 cup [160 mL] dry skimmed milk
- 8 teaspoons [40 g] powder sweetener
- 8 to 10 ice cubes
- 1/2 medium apple
- 2 whole fresh hulled or not strawberries, to decorate

- Into a bowl, sprinkle unflavored gelatin over cold water; leave to swell.
- Then pour in boiling water stirring until gelatin is completely dissolved.
- Pour gelatin into a blender then add strawberry halves, strawberry extract, dry skimmed milk and sweetener.
- Blend to mix until light.
- Add ice cubes, 2 at a time, mixing until completely melted after each addition; pour into a bowl.
- Peel, core, dice then fold apple dices into mixture.
- Evenly pour gelatin into 2 dessert cups.
- Refrigerate until set.
- Just before serving, decorate each serving with a whole strawberry.
