Berries in Patty Shells

  • 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] Mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup [250 mL] mixed berrie such as strawberries, rapsberries, blueberries...
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] finely grated lemon rind
  • 4 baked patty shells, cooled
  • Maple syrup
  • Really delicately, making sure not to break-up the berries, mix together Mascarpone cheese and berries into a bowl.
  • Delicately mix in finely grated lemon rind.
  • Arrange patty shells onto 4 individual small plates.
  • Evenly fill cooled patty shells with mixture.
  • Pour just a thread of maple syrup on top of each, and serve.
