- 10 medium eggs
- 3 cups [600 g] sugar
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] baking soda
- 3 cups [750 mL] milk
- Salt, to taste
- Nutmeg, to taste
- 8 teaspoons [40 mL] vinegar
- Vanilla, to taste
- 6 leveled tablespoons [90 g] margarine
- 5 teaspoons [25 mL] baking powder
- Enough all-purpose flour to get a nice dough
- Oil, for deep-frying

- Into a food processor, well beat together eggs and sugar.
- Mix together baking soda and milk; set aside.
- Add some salt and nutmeg, vinegar, some vanilla and margarine to first mixture; beat well.
- Pour mixture into a large bowl before mixing in milk mixture.
- Mix together baking powder and 1 cup [140 g] flour; mix into mixture.
- Mix in enough flour to get an easy to roll dough.
- Roll then cut dough into 72 dougnut shapes.
- Leave to rest onto waxed paper on the counter for 1 hour.
- Deep-fry doughnuts, a few at a time into really hot oil until golden brown on both sides, turning once.
- Transfer onto papper toweling to absorb excess oil.
