Salsa Omelet

IngredientsPreparation
  • 6 large eggs
  • Approximately 1/4 cup [60 mL] hot tap water
  • Salt and pepper
  • Approximately 1/4 cup [60 mL] salsa sauce [commercially bougth mild, medium or hot - to taste].
  • Butter
  • Grated Old Cheddar cheese
  • Beat together eggs and hot water.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Mix in salsa sauce.
  • Mix well.
  • Cook in melted hot butter.
  • When almost set, garnish omelet with cheese.
  • Cover and cook for a few minutes more, until melted.
