- 6 large eggs
- Approximately 1/4 cup [60 mL] hot tap water
- Salt and pepper
- Approximately 1/4 cup [60 mL] salsa sauce [commercially bougth mild, medium or hot - to taste].
- Butter
- Grated Old Cheddar cheese

- Beat together eggs and hot water.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Mix in salsa sauce.
- Mix well.
- Cook in melted hot butter.
- When almost set, garnish omelet with cheese.
- Cover and cook for a few minutes more, until melted.
