Egg Slices in White Sauce

  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] minced onion
  • 4 tablespoons [60 g] butter
  • 4 tablespoons [35 g] flour
  • 2 cups [500 mL] cold milk
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Into a frypan, lightly brown minced onion into melted butter.
  • Well stir in flour.
  • Pour in cold milk, whipping until just boiling.
  • Delicately stir in egg slices.
  • Salt and pepper.
  • Serve immediately.
