- 1/4 cup [60 mL] minced onion
- 4 tablespoons [60 g] butter
- 4 tablespoons [35 g] flour
- 2 cups [500 mL] cold milk
- 3 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- Salt and pepper, to taste

- Into a frypan, lightly brown minced onion into melted butter.
- Well stir in flour.
- Pour in cold milk, whipping until just boiling.
- Delicately stir in egg slices.
- Salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately.
