- 2 [4-ounce / 113-mL each] cans hot green pepper, drained then chopped
- 4 cups [900 g] grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 cups [500 mL] milk
- 1 cup [250 mL] buttermilk baking powder biscuit mix
- 6 eggs

- Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
- Grease a rectangular 9 x 13-inch [23 x 33-cm] baking dish.
- Evenly sprinkle chopped green peppers all over bottom of dish; sprinkle with grated Cheddar cheese.
- Into a bowl, beat together milk, buttermilk baking powder biscuit mix and eggs until light.
- Evenly pour mixture into prepared baking dish, over grated Cheddar cheese.
- Bake mixture into preheated oven for 30 minutes, until the blade of knife comes out clean from its centre.
- Cut mixture into squares and serve, hot.
