- 2 cups [500 mL] seasoned croutons
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 cups [500 mL] milk
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
- Pepper, to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] onion powder
- 8 ounces [227 g] Cheddar cheese, shredded

- Preheat oven to 325°F [160°C].
- Arrange seasoned croutons over the bottom of a 10 x 6 x 2-inch [25 x 15 x 5-cm] buttered baking pan.
- Beat together slightly beaten eggs, milk, salt, pepper and onion powder.
- Pour mixture all over croutons.
- Sprinkle mixture all over with shredded cheese.
- Bake into preheated oven for 55 to 60 minutes, before serving.
