Easy Salmon Pie

  • Hot boiled potatoes
  • 1 large can salmon, with liquid
  • A little milk
  • Chopped green onion, to taste
  • Chopped celery, to taste
  • A little butter
  • 2 [9-inch / 23-cm] pie shells
  • Pepper
  • Mash boiled potatoes with salmon liquid and a little milk.
  • Lightly brown chopped green onion and celery in a little melted butter.
  • Mix together mashed potatoes, green onion mixture and salmon; pepper to taste.
  • Spoon mixture into one of the pastry shells; cover with remaining pastry shell.
  • Cut a few slits on top of pie.
  • Bake into a preheated 375°F [190°C] oven, for 30 to 45 minutes.
