Chinese Chicken or Beef Fondue Broth

Serve along with vegetables bites, shellfish and/or pork thin slices and/or beef thin slices and sauces.

| Ingredients | Preparation |
- 4 cups [1 L] chicken or beef broth
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] dry Xeres [sherry wine]
- 4 drops Tabasco sauce
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 2 slices fresh ginger
- 1 green onion, sliced

- Into a saucepan, mix together all ingredients.
- Cover; bring to a boil.
- Lower heat and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Pour through a colander, into a metal fondue pot.
