- 3 tablespoons [45 g] butter
- 1/3 cup [80 mL] minced onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] red wine
- 1 [10-ounce / 284 mL] can cream of mushroom soup concentrate
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] cream [15% m.s.g.]
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] prepared mustard
- Salt and pepper

- Brown minced onion into melted butter.
- Slowly stir in all remaining ingredients.
- Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring.
- Serve hot.
