Cheese Fondue from Friburg

  • 1 large garlic clove
  • 17 1/2 ounces [500 g] Vacherin cheese
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] water
  • Pepper
  • Rub a ceramic fondue pot with garlic clove.
  • Add and heat together cheese and water, over low heat, stirring.
  • Be careful, mixture must not boil!
  • Pepper to taste.
