Chinese Beef Onion Red Wine Fondue Broth

IngredientsPreparation
  • 6 medium-size onions, chopped
  • 1/4 pound [113 g] butter
  • 2 [10-ounce / 284-mL each] cans beef broth concentrate
  • 2 [10-ounce / 284-mL each] cans water
  • 2 cups [500 mL] red wine
  • 1 cube onion broth concentrate
  • 1 cube beef broth concentrate
  • 1 cube chicken broth concentrate
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] soy sauce
  • Thyme, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, to taste
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Brown chopped onions into melted butter.
  • Add all remaining ingredients.
  • Simmer for 2 hours.
  • Strain.
