Chinese Herb Fondue Broth

Serve along with lots of wine, as this fondue is quite spicy.

IngredientsPreparation
  • 1 [10-ounce / 284-mL] can onion soup concentrate
  • 1 [10-ounce / 284-mL] can beef consomme concentrate
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] dry red wine
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] salt
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] pepper
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] thyme
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] fines herbs
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] mixed herbs
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 to 3 drops Tabasco sauce
  • Mix together all ingredients.
  • Refrigerate for 24 hours.
  • Reheat before serving, hot.
