Almond Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter
  • 1 cup [250 mL] slivered almonds
  • 1 cup [250 mL] strong tea
  • 1 package brown sauce
  • Water
  • Salt and pepper
  • Brown slivered almonds into melted butter.
  • Mix together strong tea and brown sauce; pour in water, until of desired consistency.
  • Mix in slivered almonds.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Serve, hot.
