- 1 cup [250 mL] maple syrup
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] heavy cream [35% m.s.g.]
- 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter
- Fruits such as: kiwi wedges, banana slices, pear wedges, apple wedges and clementine segments
- Sponge cake cubes or ladyfinger cookie halves

- Pour maple syrup and cream into a medium-size casserole.
- Simmer over medium heat until a drop of maple syrup poured into cold water shapes into a hard ball, about 20 to 25 minutes.
- Take away from heat; beat in butter, until creamy.
- Pour into a small chocolate fondue pot or into individual serving bowls.
- Serve, along with fruits pieces, sponge cake cubes, ladyfinger cookie halves...
