- 4 potatoes
- 2 [10-ounce / 284-mL each] cans beef consomme concentrate
- 2 cubes chicken broth concentrate
- 1 cup [250 mL] water
- Pinch of oregano
- Pinch of thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Pinch of celery salt
- 1 cup [250 mL] red wine
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] mushrooms

- Peel and cube potatoes; reserve.
- Mix together all ingredients except potatoes and mushrooms; simmer for 1 hour.
- After fifteen [15] minutes cooking time, add potato cubes; thirty [30] minutes later, add mushrooms.
- Strain to remove all vegetables, before serving.
