Lobster or Crab Meat Fondue

  • 1 [10-ounce / 284-mL] can shrimp soup concentrate
  • 1 [6-ounce / 170-mL] can lobster or crab meat, drained
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] milk
  • 1/2 cup [115 g] grated Old Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] Sherry wine
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 1 loaf French bread, into large cubes
  • Mix together, into a metal fondue pot or a casserole, shrimp soup concentrate, drained lobster or crab meat, milk, grated cheese, Sherry wine and Cayenne pepper, to taste.
  • Heat over medium heat, stirring, until cheese is melted and mixture is hot.
  • Serve, along with large bread cubes, to dip into fondue.
