Chinese Fondue Broth [microwave]

  • 2 cups [500 mL] hot water
  • 1 cup [250 mL] dry red wine
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] beef broth concentrate
  • Well mix together all ingredients, into an 8-cup [2-L] microwave-safe casserole.
  • Microwave uncovered, on HIGH, for 5 minutes.
  • Stir and then transfer mixture into a metal fondue pot.
