- 2 cups [500 mL] hot water
- 1 cup [250 mL] dry red wine
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] beef broth concentrate

- Well mix together all ingredients, into an 8-cup [2-L] microwave-safe casserole.
- Microwave uncovered, on HIGH, for 5 minutes.
- Stir and then transfer mixture into a metal fondue pot.
