Italian Fondue

  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 [19-ounce / 540-mL] can tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon [0.5 mL] Tabasco sauce
  • 1 pound [454 g] Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • Bread cubes
  • Soften chopped green pepper into boiling water for a few minutes.
  • Mix together softened green pepper, tomatoes, minced garlic and Tabasco sauce into a saucepan.
  • Boil for 5 minutes, crushing tomatoes.
  • Add grated cheese, a little at a time, stirring constantly until completely melted.
  • Serve, along with bread cubes.
