Semi-Sweet Chocolate Fondue
Comments: Serve along with angel food cake bites, spoon cookies or lady fingers, and a varitety of fruit pieces to dip in.

  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] whipping cream
  • 8 ounces [227 g] semi-sweet chocolate, broken into fine pieces
  • 3 tablespoons [45 mL] Grand Marnier [optional]
  • Into a medium casserole, bring whipping cream to just a boil.
  • Lower heat to low.
  • Add chocolate pieces and, if desired, 1 tablespoon [15 mL] of Grand Marnier.
  • Whip until smooth.
  • Remove from heat, taste and, if desired, mix in remaining Grand Marnier before pouring melted mixture into a chocolate fondue pot, over a candle..
  • Serve immediately.
