Sauce for Game Animals and/or Birds

Comments: If desired, use any wild berry [cranberry, blueberry...] jelly instead of gooseberry jelly.
Servings: 6
  • 2 tablespoons [30 g] butter
  • 7 ounces [220 mL] gooseberry jelly
  • 3 tablespoons [45 mL] chili sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] Worcestershire sauce
  • Melt butter.
  • Stir in gooseberry jelly, chili sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Serve, hot.
