Roast Guinea-Fowl

Comments: Guinea-fowl can be roasted, just like a small chicken, if its breast is covered with bacon slices.
Roast a 2 to 2 1/2-pound [2 kg to 1.13-kg] guiena-fowl for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  • 1 [1 1/2 to 2-pound / 680 g to 1-kg] guinea-fowl
  • Bacon slices
  • Preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
  • Cover guinea-fowl breast with bacon slices.
  • Just lay a piece of al foil over the bird [do not thighten].
  • Roast into preheated oven for 45 to 60 minutes, removing al foil for the last 20 minutes roasting time.
