Festive Cheese Wreath

  • 1 [8-ounce / 227-g] pack cream cheese
  • 1 [16-ounce / 454-g] pack Old Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup [60 g] grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] chopped sweet green pepper
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] chopped green onion
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] milk
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] freshly chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] toasted pecan pieces
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] tiny cubes sweet red pepper
  • Chopped parsley [to garnish]
  • Sweet red pepper pieces ... [to garnish]
  • Mix together cream cheese, grated Old Cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, chopped sweet green pepper, chopped green onion and milk.
  • Drop spoonfuls mixture, shaping a large ring [use a small glass bowl in the center], onto a serving plate.
  • Smooth top of ring with a spatula.
  • Remove glass bowl.
  • Sprinkle all over with a mixture of chopped parsley, toasted pecans pieces and sweet red pepper cubes.
  • Chill for 2 hours.
  • Just before serving, garnish wreath to taste, with chopped parsley and sweet red pepper pieces.
