Camembert Cheese Almond Wedges

Comments: Serve Camember cheese almond wedges along with a sweet sauce, over lettuce leaves, garnished with raw vegetable bites.
Servings: 24 wedges
  • 1 pound [454 g] Camembert cheese
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] ground almonds
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil for frying
  • Cut Camember cheese into 24 wedges.
  • Into a bowl, mix together ground almonds and breadcrumbs.
  • Dip each cheese wedge into beaten eggs.
  • Then completely coat cheese wedges with ground almonds/breadcrumbs mixture.
  • Freeze for 1 hour.
  • Fry into hot oil, over high heat, until golden brown.
  • Drain onto paper toweling, and serve.
