To succeed in making these fritters, the Camembert cheese must be cold, ripen but not runny. Cracker instead of bread crumbs can be used. This dish can either be served as a hors d'oeuvre or as a 'feast', at the end of a meal. Serve along with a robust enough red wine, such as a Burgundy wine. |
