- 2 tablespoons [30 g] butter
- 2 tablespoons [17.5 g] flour
- 1 cup [250 mL] cold milk
- 1 can asparagus tips, well-drained
- 4 slices or more cooked ham
- Grated Mozzerella cheese, to sprinkle
- Cayenne pepper, to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste

- Melt butter into a saucepan; stir in flour until smooth.
- Pour in cold milk all at once, season to taste with Cayenne pepper, salt an pepper.
- Leave to simmer stirring often until thick to taste.
- Even pour white sauce into 4 oven-safe individual dishes long enough to hold asparagus tips and ham slices.
- Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
- Top ham slices with 3 or 4 drained asparagus tips; roll.
- Arrange ham rolls into white sauce into dishes.
- Evenly sprinkle each serving all over with grated Mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer into preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- Preheat oven broiler.
- Broil until golden, before serving.
