- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 g] sugar
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] salt
- 2 egg yolks
- 3 to 4 tablespoons [45 to 60 mL] lemon juice
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups [375 to 500 mL] olive oil

- Half garlic then well rub a bowl with garlic halves.
- Mix in sugar, dry mustard and salt.
- Add egg yolks and well beat together all ingredients.
