- 3 to 4 pounds [1.4 to 1.8 kg] spareribs
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] catsup
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] water
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] salt
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] paprika
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] chili power
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] vinegar
- Dash Cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] pepper
- 2 tablespoon [30 mL] Worcestershire sauce

- Soak spareribs into bolling water.
- Meanwhile, bring all remaining ingredients to a boil.
- Preheat oven to 500°F [260°C].
- Arrange drained spareribs into a baking dish.
- Pour sauce over spareribs and cover; bake into preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- Lower oven temperature to 300°F [150°C]; bake until meat is tender.
