- 2 pounds beef cubes
- 1 [19-ounce / 540-mL] can whole tomatoes
- 1 [10-ounce / 284-mL] can tomato soup
- 1 can sliced mushrooms
- 2 onions, minced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 1 sweet green pepper, membranes removed and seeded, diced
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] brown sugar
- 1/3 cup [80 mL] vinegar
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] ginger
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Garlic powder, to taste
- 2 tablespoons [30 g] butter
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] oil

- Into a casserole, mix together all ingredients.
