Chili Meat Loaf

  • 3 pounds [1.4 kg] ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons [10 mL] salt
  • 2 teaspons [10 mL] Tabasco sauce
  • 1 [8-ounce / 227-mL] can tomato sauce
  • 4 tablespoons [60 mL] chili powder
  • 1 [7-ounce / 200-mL] can chopped green chiles
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] cornmeal
  • Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
  • Mix together all ingredients until well blended.
  • Shape into a loaf in a baking pan.
  • Bake into preheated oven for 1 hour.
