- 1 slice beef round
- Chopped sweet green peppers, membranes removed and seeded, to taste
- Chopped onions, to taste
- Small tomatoes, to taste
- Sliced fresh mushrooms, to taste
- Chopped celery, to taste
- Approximately 2 tablespoons [30 mL] oil
- Approximately 2 tablespoons [30 mL] soy sauce, to taste
- Approximately 2 tablespoons [30 mL] cold water
- Salt, to taste

- Cut steak and green peppers into small strips.
- Cut onions and tomatoes into wedges.
- Cut celery into thick slices.
- Heat oil into a frypan; brown yet do not overcook together all vegetables.
- Into a large clean frypan, brown beef strips before mixing in cooked vegetables.
- Stir in soy sauce; also stir in cold water, or wait until almost ready to serve for more sauce.
- Sprinkle with just a little salt, before serving.
