Baked Pork Chops with Sauce

  • 6 thick pork chops
  • 1 onion, small or medium-size, sliced
  • 1 [10-ounce / 284-mL] can cream of chicken or mushroom soup concentrate
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] milk or water
  • Salt and pepper
  • Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
  • Arrange pork chops into an oven-safe dish.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Envenly top with onion slices.
  • Into a bowl or a small saucepan, mix together cream of chicken or mushroom soup concentrate and milk or water.
  • Heat, stirring to eliminate any lump.
  • Pour all over chops; cover.
  • Bake into preheated oven, for 1 hour 15 minutes.
