- 1 cup [140 g] self-rising flour
- 1 cup [250 mL] self-rising cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons [30 g] sugar
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] oil
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup [250 mL] milk
- 12 weiners
- Oil for deep-frying

- Into a large bowl, combine self-rising flour and cornmeal, sugar, oil, beaten egg and milk.
- Roll weiners into batter until well coated.
- Deep-fry coated weiners into hot oil, until golden brown.
