The marinade is also excellent to flavor a brown sauce; simply replace the same amount of water with the marinade on hand.

- 1 pork tenderloin for 2
- A few cloves garlic
Marinade
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] olive oil
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] dried basil

- Sliver then insert garlic cloves into pork tenderloin.
- Transfer tenderloin into a baking dish with a tight lid.
- Into a bowl, mix together all marinade ingredients.
- Pour marinade over pork tenderloin.
- Refrigerate and leave to marinate for 24 hours.
- Then, preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
- Transfer pork tenderloin and its marinade into preheated oven.
- Roast tenderloin uncovered for 40 minutes.
