- 2 cups [280 g] all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup [80 mL] sweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup [100 g] sugar
- 3 teaspoons [15 mL] baking powder
- 1 1/3 cups [330 mL] chocolate chips
- Pinch of salt
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 cup [250 mL] milk
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] oil

- Preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
- Into a bowl, mix together flour, sweetened cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, chocolate chips and salt.
- Reserve.
- Into a large bowl, beat together eggs, milk and oil.
- Slowly fold dry ingredients into eggs mixture; mix delicately just until well blended.
- Fill 12 oiled muffin tins up to 2/3rds with dough.
- Bake into preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean from the centre of the muffins.
- Leave to cool for 10 minutes before unmolding, and serve.
