- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup [150 g] sugar
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] milk
- 1 cup [250 mL] bran cereals
- 1 cup [140 g] flour
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons [30 g] melted butter
- 3 peeled kiwis, finely diced
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped pecans

- Preheat oven to 400°F [200°C].
- Beat together egg and sugar.
- Mix in milk and bran cereals.
- Fold in already mixed together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
- Thoroughly mix in melted butter, kiwi dices and chopped pecans.
- Fill 12 paper-lined muffin tins with dough.
- Bake into preheated oven, for 20 to 25 minutes.
