- 2 cups [500 mL] breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup [35 g] flour
- 3 tablespoons [45 mL] paprika
- 4 teaspoons [20 mL] salt
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon [2.5 to 5 mL] Cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspooon [2.5 mL] garlic powder
- 1/4 cup [60 g] shortening
- 2 teaspoons [10 g] sugar
- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] onion powder
- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] oregano

- Mix together all ingredients.
- For best results, refrigerate mixture.
- To use, dip poultry or meat pieces into milk, then into breadcrumbs mixture.
