Comments: To vary, instead of strawberry yogurt use plain yogurt to which is added 1/2 cup [125 mL] fresh whole strawberries or thawed frozen strawberries with juice and 2 tablespoons [30 mL] brown sugar.
Or, serve into individual bowls, sprinkled with a mixture of 2 tablespoons [30 mL] granola cereals and 2 teaspoons [10 mL] sunflower seeds [this mixture is also delicious with muffins, pancakes and waffles].

  • 2 cups [500 mL] strawberry yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped dates
  • Into a bowl, mix together strawberry yogurt and lemon juice; leave to rest for 15 minutes.
  • Thoroughly mix in chopped dates.
  • Serve cold.
