- 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] rolled oats
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] brown sugar
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] water
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon [0.5 mL] salt
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] raisins

- Sprinkle rolled oats into a large shallow pan.
- Combine brown sugar, vegetable oil, water, cinnamon and salt.
- Stir into rolled oats; mix well and distribute evenly into pan.
- Bake into a preheated 300°F [150°C] oven for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven, mix in raisins and cool completely.
- Store into a tightly covered container.
