- 8 ounces [227 g] small curd cottage cheese
- 2 egg whites, or 1 egg
- 1/2 cup [70 g] flour
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 ml] salt
- Boiling water

- Mix together cottage cheese and egg whites or egg.
- Add flour and salt,
- Knead until the mixture is no longer sticky.
- Roll out dough into balls, slightly smaller than golf balls.
- Roll them in flour to coat.
- Drop balls into a casserole filled with boiling water.
- Cook for 12 minutes, drain and serve.
