- 1/2 cup [125 mL] rolled oats
- Water
- 1 heaping teaspoon [5 mL] peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon [5 g] sugar
- Salt, to taste
- 3 drops vanilla extract
- 1 sprinkle ground cinnamon
- 15 raisins [optional]
- Milk, to taste

- Into a small saucepan, just cover rolled oats with water and bring to a boil.
- Leave to boil for 3 minutes, turn down the heat and leave to simmer for 2 minutes, adding more water if needed.
- Mix in sugar, salt, ground cinnamon and vanilla extract, then peanut butter, if desired raisins, and then some milk, until milky to taste.
- Leave to simmer stirring for 1 more minute.
- Pour into a cereal bowl, and enjoy!
